The Capgemini Black and White Ball represents a first in Scotland. The first ‘Green Carpet’ event in aid of The Prince’s Trust and the first to be carbon neutral. The event’s guiding principles are:
- The need for environmental change is 'black and white'.
- Changing the lives of young people supported by the Prince's Trust is at the heart of the event.
- Redefining luxury - eco-chic and eco-luxury are possible.
Dress code: The Ball is strictly black tie and ladies are invited to wear vintage couture. Black and white is not mandatory, or green for that matter! | "Thank you for supporting what is sure to be a wonderfully glamorous and unique evening!"

"The organisers of the Black and White Ball are to be congratulated on a truly unique idea and I am delighted to be a key sponsor. I am particularly pleased to be involved in The Prince’s Trust eco-goodie bag competition. It is great to see young people delivering the message of environmental change through design and we are looking forward to presenting a wind turbine to the winning school on the big night.” David Gordon, CEO Windsave.
The carbon emissions generated by the Black and White Ball have been offset by carbon credits sourced and sponsored by Carbon Accountables.
